SLAVIC DELIGHTS presents The influence of Polish folklore on world art and musicA presentation on Polish art, folklore, songs, dances, making links with world culture and music
with Bożena KopczyńskaBożena Kopczyńska ARCM,RCM, studied at the Academy of Music in Krakow, the Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam and the Royal College of Music in London where she graduated with the James Ivory award. She started her international career as concertmaster of the Polish Youth Orchestra, with whom she visited many European countries. After graduating in London, she played in the London RCM String Orchestra, the Boston Philharmonic in the USA, Capella Cracoviensis in Krakow, and in various orchestras in Germany and the Netherlands. In addition to working in the orchestra, she is also actively involved in performing chamber music (among other things, she plays in the ensemble Arcato Lingua) and has performed at festivals in France, England and the Netherlands. She actively promotes Polish music and poetry and was awarded the diploma of recognition, by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, for outstanding achievements for the promotion of Polish culture abroad.
